AI for Good: Generative AI – Tirana Chapter invites young people aged 16 to 24, regardless of their prior experience with generative AI. Participants will be educated to develop concepts for services or solutions that promote innovation, collaboration, and the responsible use of AI to address societal challenges. The purpose of this initiative is to empower Albanian youth with generative AI skills, fostering creativity and real-world applications, and making a lasting impact through innovation and collaboration in addressing social issues.
The objectives for the course:
- Educational Empowerment: To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of generative AI and its potential applications, particularly in solving global challenges such as disinformation, climate change, and more.
- Skill Development: To remove entry barriers to coding and AI for beginners, ensuring participants can effectively use AI tools regardless of their prior experience.
- Community Impact: To encourage participants to apply their newly acquired AI skills to real-world projects that benefit their local communities, fostering a culture of social responsibility and innovation.
- Accessibility and Inclusivity: To ensure that advanced AI technologies are accessible to a diverse group of young people, including those from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Long-term Impact: To create sustainable AI-driven projects that continue to benefit communities even after the program concludes.
